for me it looks like I'll be driving from albuquerque, nm instead of the bay area.

So I dunno if I'll really be representing the bay area or NM. On the plus side, it cuts the drive to houston nearly in half. instead of 26 hours of driving it's 14.75 hours, at least least that's what google says.

Edit: It's official, I'll be moving to albuquerque, no set date but it's either end of august or beginning of sept. So I'll be closer to this meet then I had originally planned.

im not getting enough feedback from the people who are "supposed" to help me organize this. I understand that they all have schedules that they have to follow. As I see it, if there isnt any form of commitment to spend time brainstorming, meeting up and discussioning topics for this, i dont see it happening.
I'd LOVE to see this go through but as the date comes closer, i dont think it can happen w/ just me organizing this...

we had a layout set up but fundraising is an issue that we have trouble with. i dont know what to do anymore.

That sucks. When I come back to Houston (mid August) I can start helping you out. I will PM you my info.

I know a lot of the long distancers probably couldnt justify the trip unless its a huge ordeal, but I know there are quite a few of us regionally that would make the trip just for some track/strip/cruise/picnic/show good times. I mean, I know I'm speaking for a lot of folks, but thats the feeling I get from quite a few of us.

Just my .02, but if we dont decide on a date soon, its going to be hard for people to plan. I'm going to be down there March 19th anyways for my best friend's wedding. Obviously that takes priority, but I'll be around then, I could always come down a couple days early!

hum didnt know you all where having problems with this. could we possibly get the main page up and running. atlease have a thread on there people can chime in. or even a list of people that are coming with the region they are coming from. from past experience i've found that people are more willing to travel if they think many others will be.

i know a guy from florida,one from oklahoma and about 2-3 dozen prelude owners that would come from texas. so if others do there part i'll do mine and try to get out every prelude person i know.
